Candies Creek Cemetery
Charleston, Tennessee
Welcome to Candies Creek Cemetery in the Eureka Community of Bradley County, Tennessee. The mission of Candies Creek Cemetery is to provide a sacred, peaceful place for burial as well as to provide a space for prayer, reflection, and remembrance. For almost 190 years, historic CCC has been a place, not just for the dead and the grieving, but it has also been a place where the living can learn about their ancestors, take a quiet walk, contemplate the passage of time, discover scripture, poetry, and art, and reflect on the lives of those who came before.
Candies Creek Cemetery is maintained strictly by donations. Your help is greatly appreciated! Our largest ongoing expense is seasonal lawn maintenance. This past summer we collected donations for some much-needed tree and property line maintenance which was completed in July 2025. Thank you to our donors! (Click here for photos of Drew Graham and the Tree team and for photos of Mitchell Delmotte and Bishop Higgins, our 2025 Lawn Maintenance team.) Paid lawn maintenance has come to an end for 2025, but volunteer grounds maintenance continues year-round.
Since 1985, CCC has been an entirely separate entity from Candies Creek Baptist Church and receives no funding from the church. If you wish to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Cemetery, please send a check, made payable to “Candies Creek Cemetery”, to either Sabel Hooper, 8669 Eureka Rd. NW, Charleston, TN 37310 OR to Candies Creek Baptist Church, 294 Old Eureka Road NW, Charleston, TN 37310 (clearly designated for and made payable to the Cemetery). If a tax receipt is not needed, we could also accept a donation via Venmo or Zelle.
